It must have been about
by Bavafa on Sun Nov 08, 2009 10:24 AM PSTIt must have been about 15-18 years ago when I went to his concert for the first time and fell in love with his music ever since.
Thank you so much for the post, he sure is as ever so masterful and it is a delight to see him specially with his son.
Once again, thank you for the great post.
Mehrdad
P.S. I used to do relatively hardcore white water kayaking and those days I would listen to his music right before the run to calm/psyche myself and it surely worked.
WOW...thank you so much for posting!
by Haleh on Sun Nov 08, 2009 05:35 AM PSTAnother Shahkar from Ostad Nazeri and son!! Can't wait to hear the whole Symphony.
And indeed it's the sound of peace.
Thank you for this great post!
by Azarin Sadegh on Sat Nov 07, 2009 02:10 PM PSTI love Shahram Nazeri and also his handsome Hafez..;-) Such an extraordinary Father-Son relationship! They should make every Iranian proud!
I was so lucky to attend their concert a few weeks ago in LA, at the premier of their Rumi Symphony and I have to say that it was a true delight! I saw people crying around me while I was wiping off my own tears...but I'd say nobody was crying by sorrow. We were all just blown away, struck by a heavenly beauty.
There is always a certain magic in their music and in Master Nazeri's amazing voice that easily transport me toward a better world where I can lose and at the same time find myself! Joyful, yet full of nostalgia.
Thank you for sharing these lovely videos! Azarin

by Midwesty on Sat Nov 07, 2009 07:00 AM PSTNazeri is the one who reintroduced Molana to his true audience, the ordinary Iranians the time they had forgotten about him.
I was not happy when he rushed to France to accept a prestigious medal from a phony man who was pressing to go to war against Iran.
But I am sure he well thought of that before he accepted the Chevalier Medal.
Nevertheless he is an Iranian icon. God bless his soul and every step he makes towards promoting Iranian culture.
