Heart Wrenching to Any Decent Soul!
by Mort Gilani on Wed Aug 12, 2009 03:57 PM PDTI admire Mrs. Ale-Kanan’s courage and strength in talking about her painful experience.
On an emotional level though, I cannot help but think when you brandished your Islamic Republic passport, and claimed that in a recent visit to Iran you discovered the Islamic Republic to be a quasi-democracy; you were full of shit. When you wrote, out of humanity, you decried for the plights of Gaza children and Lebanese casualties; you were full of shit. When you act surprised in a conduct that has been almost an official practice in Islamic Republic death chambers for the past 28 years; you are still full of shit.
Shame on us for letting this cancer infect Iranian body and soul for the past 30 year!

Capt-ayhab !!!
by Reza-Rio de Janeiro on Wed Aug 12, 2009 01:11 PM PDTFirst of all,
Like any human and Iranian my heart also goes to Mrs. Azar Ale-Kanan and her family and loved ones... May she find ever lasting Freedom, Health, Peace, Happiness and Prosperity in her remaining life like all those other Iranians who were wronged by EVIL Islamic Republic ...
Capitan, I know most likely, you are not an I.R. supporter. But based on your previous comments about my extreme views about Iran and Iranians, I feel the need to engage your very educated mind into another little debate in hopes of encouraging (not forcing!) your heart to be filled with as much education/ wisdom...
In my poor writings, I may come across as a mean person! But, honestly that is not it. I write so bluntly and truthfully that makes people like you uncomfortable or perhaps offended... If so, I apologize. But I will not apologize for telling the truth and stand by Iran and Iranians...
Ham-meehan, here is another (God bless Azar Ale-Kanan) proof that Islam or any other fanatic religion in Iran is the cause of all these problems and tragedies!!!
Thousands (perhaps so many more) of Iranian people like Mrs. Azar Ale-Kanan who were and have been humilated, insulted, imprisoned, suffered, tortured, raped and killed IN THE NAME OF ISLAM in our beloved Motherland IRAN!!!!
I guarantee you my friend, when these EVIL Islamic Republic is destroyed in IRAN, and their crimes are fully exposed to all Iranians, Majority of us will also have a second thought about the kind of religion we choose to identify ourselves by, IF ANY...
Just because we were born Muslim (by force and not choice) doesn't mean that we want to stay Muslim after so many crimes committed against humanity among us were in its name!!!
There are many things fundamentally wrong with the way Islam has been practiced for over 1400 years by MUSLIMS since its creation!!!
What has happened in Iran and to Iranians perhaps are the WORST EXAMPLEs of it!!! (In Arabic world, mainly the birth place of Islam (Saudi Arabia, at least Islam was in parallel and equal with their Language, culture, traditions, mentality and so on, but NOT in IRAN then and even after 1400 years later today!!!!)
In IRAN, even after 1400 years even their EVIL so called spiritual leaders (LOL) had to and still must speak in Persian(some form...) to communicate with all Iranians!!! Isn't that amazing/ rediculous that non of these bastards can still speak Arabic fluently yet???
Can Iranians ever understand the CONTRADICTIONS? I am sure we will after I.R. We are sadly still not there yet...
Parvardegaare Bozrge Iran,
Free Iran and Iranians from EVIL and direct us toward Awarness, Consciousness, Love and Peace.

The speaker of Iran's parliament has dismissed claims by a defeated presidential candidate that opposition protesters were raped in detention.
I guess it doesn't really matter to the IRI how much evidence there is. I hope more people, whether male or female, will have the courage to speak out. This regime obviously has no morals, but maybe at least it has some shame.

by RezaKnowsAcu on Wed Aug 12, 2009 10:33 AM PDTRape, torture, unjust imprisonment, they all have something in common, crime against humanity and what makes it worst in this case, is obviously the interpretation of their actions by this regime. Always in the name of God and religion…this form of dealing with the public revolt has been dealt with, all across the world, by nonpartisan governments who believe to be the symbol of democracy and yet we see it again and again in our own back yard. Our own wonderful US government hasn’t done any less in our neighboring country Iraq. I just wish and hope that all governments who unjustly carry out orders of wrong doings in the name of absolution, eventually pay for their deeds and falter at the end. I praise this brave soul and feel so sorry for everything she has gone through.
Bless you Ms. Ale-Kanan.

Rape is a crime, manifested in a sexual way, of imposing one's will on another.
Today, the Iranian nation is undergoing 'collective rape' at the hands of these monsters.

by American Dream on Wed Aug 12, 2009 09:11 AM PDTThis was happening more during the Pahlavi dynasty.
I hope they stop this lewd type of torture and all types of torture for that matter.
During the Pahlavi dynasty even men were sodomized in prisons in Qazveen.
Today according to Iran's President there are no homosexuals in Iran.

by Benyamin on Wed Aug 12, 2009 05:30 AM PDTI don`t know what to say about her bravery. Anything I say sounds cliche but believe me when I say I can feel her pain but I may never understand ts deptht. I am sorry as a human being for what she went through, I am sorry that "Islam" is the "official" religion in Islam.
In every country all of their effort is to boost the confidence of their youth in Iran all of their effort is to crush it and make sure her childern can never say what they have in mind.
and again I am speechless!
