As an Afghan born and raised in Canada all I had to shape some sort of visual of Afghanistan were the stories of my parents, Rambo III, and more recentley CNN coverage. This August I visited Kabul for the very first time and these pictures document what I saw, including a few wonderful visits at an orphanage.
