Photo essay: Monte Carlo building

The Iranian

I wonder if anyone can throw some light on the history of this building which stands on the approach into Monte Carlo. It was apparently built in 1910 by an exiled Qajar (I'm guessing). I have asked people about this house but no one seems to know. (For the answer, see "Villa Danesh")
