The world

We've become heartless in the name of freedom,

ruthless in the name of fear.

We've become too proud, too hungry--

hardened souls and lying dreams.

So when did our integrity become so cheap?

Black, White, Muslim to Jew,

from saints to sinners,

the blind or the enlightened few--

we're all hypocrites.

We are all hypocrites.

Including me.
