Education slogan
Before the revolution, school textbooks had this slogan
on the cover: "Tavaanaa bovad har keh daanaa bovad..." (Knowledge
brings strength). These days it's "Ta'leem o ta'alom ebaadat ast."
(Education and learning are forms of prayer).
