On October 22nd Iranian writer Shahrnush Parsipur came to Amsterdam to sign her book "Women Without Men" which has been translated into Dutch. Two films by artist Shirin Neshat were shown "Zarin" and "Making of Mahdokht" (based on this book) after giving a short interview and Q&A with the audience. Afterwards the events organizer DJ Ishtar from the Delevante Gallery played her Middle Eastern sounds. -- Babak Andishmand
