Oregon State artist paints from life
Iranian student has gained recognition for her currently displayed
art

May 25, 2003 -- Iranian Tala Madani originally
came to the United States seeking an education, but upon her arrival,
she found much more, including her passion for painting and art.Madani's
exhibit, "The Iranian", is currently on display at LaSells
Stewart Center.
Madani came to Oregon briefly before entering high school. "I
have relatives in Oregon," she said.
She was surprised with the United States when she arrived.
"In Iran, Iranians just love America," she said. "They
love everything America is for."
Madani added, "I came to the US with that clear, bliss image."
