Last weekend Iranians gathered at Victoria & Albert Museum in London as part of a series of special events organised for the new Jameel Gallery of Islamic Art and sponsored by Magic of Persia, a UK charity. I had a jewellery workshop and a Persian portrait studio, drawing inspiration from the Jameel Collection. The children had their faces painted before and after in my studio while dressing up in Qajar dynasty clothes.
