Oil exploration activities threaten Chogha Zanbil

I just received this email from one my close friends who is an expert in archaeology and works for "Miras Farhangi" [Photos (1) (2)] . He seems to be very alerted about the fact that one of the most important archaelogical sites in Iran (chogha zanbil) will be destroyed in the next two days due to the nearby explosions that are scheduled in the region in order to find oil. -- Ali NR
