IRANIAN AMERICAN
COOPERATION CENTER

Our organization has been created to earn the deserving respect and admiration of the society at large for our community by showing our achievements and wonderful culture.

As required by our charter, we are a non-political, non-partisan organization. Our main goal is to get national recognition for "Iranian Heritage Day."

We are hoping that with the help of concerned individuals and the gathering of a respectable number of signatures, we can petition our legislators to introduce a bill in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate to declare March 21st ("Noruz" on the first day of spring) as "Iranian Heritage Day" in the States.

Individuals, groups and organizations like us have been able to get temporary proclamations in some states for "Iranian Day." We would like to see this recognized every year on a national level. We want it to be part of the official calendar of this country.

The only way to achieve this goal is by the collective efforts of concerned individuals in a petition drive to introduce legislation in the House and Senate.

Respected scholars with a deep a interest in our culture, and the Iranian-American media, could assist us in this path as well.

Your ideas and suggestions would be very welcome. Contact us at:
