Temptation

Slick as a grass
Dreams of a touch
Tearing me apart

In your sparkling eyes
Could have been forever lost
It's a work of art

Whispers so clear
An unreal dream
My mind is slipping away

Selling my soul
Placing my poise
On a silver tray

Weigh heavily on my mind
It presses on my heart
No reason to disparage
Temptation it is, I say
