I wish that Iran fulfills its true potential.

I wish that Iran becomes a land of freedom so that all Iranians can participate in its development.

I wish that no Iranian goes without food, shelter, work and medical care.

I wish that we always live in peace and resolve our problems without any military action.

I wish that our cities become pollution free and our roads safe to drive on.

I wish that Iranians can learn to live and work without destroying and poisoning the environment.

I wish that our best and brightest would not leave and instead stay and help make Iran what it can be.

I wish that those Iranians living abroad return and help Iran become a great nation.

I wish that we could learn to live together without having some of us telling the rest of us how to live or worship.

I wish that Iranians following a formal spiritual path could learn to not impose their path on the rest of us and trust their fellow Iranians to discover God on their own.

I wish those Iranians following a spiritual path lead by example and education and not through propaganda and brainwashing.

I wish that those Iranians following a spiritual path have enough faith in their own path that their mission can still be carried out when there is a separation of mosque and state.

I wish that Iranians could learn to live with true freedom of expression, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion -- and freedom from fear.

I wish that a social environment could be established so that the true creative potential of each of us could be realized.

Finally I wish that all Iranians regained their faith in their country and made the commitment to its future generations because if we don't take up the responsibility who will? Who will educate our new generation? Who will teach them how to resolve their problems through debate, examination, trust, and not, through force? Who will teach them about our ancestors, people that once ruled, managed, and advanced the known world? Who will guide them to a higher standard of living where fairness, honesty, honor, and intelligence and knowledge are the cultural bedrock?

The answer is you.

You are the answer.

If not you, then who?
