Where looms death

Your presence looms in corners here and there

Wears doom as a mask-permanent,

Makes us feel alive

You are the plight

That selects us all

One by one

You are the one fair

In nature’s cruel game

You are the gift we fear but must wear

At times, in tears, we ask for your presence, but,

It’s only in jest

It’s our way to say

“We  loathe  your  permanence”

“We  protest your fairness”

“We  reject your presence”
