Hope

If I am alone, I hope.
If things are dark, I hope.
If I am lost, I hope.
If I am misplaced, I hope.
If it is raining or cold, I hope.
If I dream, I hope.
If I am afraid, I hope.
If I can't see, I hope.
If I can't understand, I hope.
If I am not open, I hope.
If you are not open, I hope.
If I see injustice, I hope.
You and I are human, full of mistakes and faults, so I hope.
When one's blood is a different color than the rest, I hope.
I hope to hope.
We can better ourselves for others, when we hope.
