Seasons

So, the world is round,
And flowers abound,
And I sit here listening to the sound
Of the birds singing.
And I think of summers past,
Sunny days that never last,
Wondering how time is moving fast,
And the world spinning.
But the trees so tall,
Losing their leaves in the fall,
Are whispering to me,
'Not to worry at all,
If the season's turning'.
'When the winter comes around,
And no flowers can be found
On the snow-covered ground,
You know that very soon
Spring will be returning'.
