Moment of peace

If I had a moment of peace
It was when my eyes could look over the edge
And watch that dreamy river flow down into Esfahan

If I had my moment of peace
It was when my feet kicked the dirt and sand of the rocky rubble
Around my streets

If I had a moment of peace
It was when I was watching my friends and family with warm eyes
Crowded around the harmonious guitar
Laughing and dancing

If I had my moment of peace
It was when I let my eyes gaze into the fire
That the young children lit
During "Chahr-Shambeh Soori"

If I had my moment of peace
It was when you and I were in paradise
Back home.
