Cover story  Write for The Iranian Gita Hashemi gita@yorku.ca Hashemi, a.k.a "Ex-isle", is an interdisciplinary cultural worker, producing hypermedia narratives as feminist politico-historical texts and as everyday practice. Born in Iran, she currently lives in Canada. "Of shifting shadows" is a factual-fictional narrative collage about the experiences of revolution and exile, composed by three women whose view of history, the before-after, is grounded in the personal, the political and the poetic. This hypermedia text is delivered on CD-ROM.
