The Amir of Santa Monica

I got this ticket for parking "illegally" on 2nd Avenue in Santa Monica, in southern California. The name of the officer who wrote the ticket is "Amir", a fellow Iranian I assume. My aunt Cheri, who lives in Santa Monica, said she had also gotten into trouble with him over something.
